3 November 2017 Everest Cash & Carry Ltd is recalling its Fried Beaten Rice with Spiced Poppadum Potato & Peanuts because it contains gluten which is not correctly mentioned on the label. This means the product is a possible health risk for individuals with coeliac disease and anyone with an intolerance to gluten. Product details

No other Everest Cash & Carry Ltd products are known to be affected.

Risk

This product contains gluten making it a possible health risk for individuals with coeliac disease or anyone with intolerance to gluten.

Our advice to consumers

If you have bought the above product and have an intolerance to gluten, do not eat it. Instead return it to the store from where it was bought.

Action taken by the company

Everest Cash & Carry Ltd. is recalling the above product from customers. The company has issued a point-of-sale notice to its customers. These notices explain to customers why the product is being recalled.
